Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager is entrusted with overseeing both minor and major projects from the initial phases of discovery and design through to development and execution. This role encompasses all responsibilities of a Project Manager while also including the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold HITT's safety standards at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with HITT's operational policies throughout all job processes.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients effectively.
  • Track project progress through updated scheduling.
  • Guarantee adherence to the project Quality Control Plan.
  • Assist project staff in resolving scope-related issues with subcontractors.
  • Oversee the assignment and evaluation of field personnel within the project team and across the organization.
  • Identify and negotiate justified time extensions.
  • Acquire new business while nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Maintain positive interactions with the subcontractor community.
  • Ensure the timely completion of project closeout processes.
  • Lead preconstruction efforts and RFP package development with support from the Preconstruction Department and other resources.
  • Delegate responsibilities as necessary to ensure smooth project operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business from an accredited institution is highly preferred.
  • Significant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven track record of acquiring and/or contacting new clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
