Ferrellgas Material Handler Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Ferrellgas. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of propane cylinders and tanks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and load propane cylinders and tanks for delivery drivers and customers
  • Scrape and paint cylinders and tanks as needed to maintain a professional appearance
  • Maintain the Service Center office and plant or yard to ensure a clean and organized workspace
  • Fill cylinders for customers at the dock, providing exceptional customer service and answering inquiries
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • 1+ years of work experience, preferred
  • Good driving record and valid driver's license
  • Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds, in all weather conditions
  • Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service
