As a Lift Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chairlifts and surface lifts. This is a full-time, year-round position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful mountain setting while enjoying access to world-class skiing and snowboarding.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on chairlifts and surface lifts, including inspections and equipment monitoring.
- Respond to and resolve lift maintenance issues in a timely and safe manner.
- Collaborate with the Lift Maintenance team to ensure the highest level of service and safety standards.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with ANSI B77 code and rigging.
- Previous ski lift operation experience preferred.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems using various tools.
- Troubleshooting skills with mechanical and hydraulic issues.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including wind, snow, ice, and at varying heights.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
The work environment for this position is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chairlifts and surface lifts. The employee may be required to work outside in extreme weather conditions, including wind, snow, ice, and at varying heights.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this position include frequent lifting up to 30 pounds, constant talking and hearing, and frequent use of hands and fingers to handle or lift items. The employee must also be able to stand and walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or reach with hands and arms.
