- Home Management: Help with household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in daily activities, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor clients' conditions and provide updates to the Homecare Manager and other healthcare professionals.
- Medication Reminders: Assist clients with medication reminders, while adhering to medication administration guidelines.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe living environment for clients.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to appointments and social events as required.
- Confidentiality: Maintain professional and confidential handling of all client information.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in home care, nursing, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role; experience in homecare preferred.
- Skills: Knowledge of household management, cooking, and attention to dietary constraints.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move clients as necessary and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license (with insurance) and reliable transportation; CPR certification; HHA and CNA certification.
