Job Summary

The Pouch Assistant position is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality flexible packaging. As a Pouch Assistant, you will work closely with the Pouch Operator to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our pouch machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pouch Operator with setting up and running the pouch machine
  • Maintain production standards of quality and effective run rate
  • Follow established material handling procedures
  • Check pouch quality continually during production runs
  • Inform the Pouch Operator of any defective material, maintenance issues, or safety concerns
Requirements
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Manual coordination and dexterity
  • Ability to work safely around operating machinery
