This role comes with a one-time hiring bonus of $2,000, distributed over the first year of employment. The Facilities Maintenance Manager will oversee the comprehensive maintenance operations, ensuring the effective functioning of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.


Key Responsibilities:
The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget for the property.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily activities of the maintenance team.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance operations, including invoices and employee evaluations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor maintenance personnel while enforcing company policies.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments of maintenance staff.
  • Prepare specifications for significant projects, manage contractor bids, and ensure quality control.
  • Procure supplies and materials in a cost-effective manner.
  • Perform routine inspections of facilities and address any identified issues.
  • Establish and implement preventive maintenance programs for all systems and equipment.
  • Oversee the overall maintenance operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment and support the objectives of the Corporate Performance Management program.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in the maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License and the ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Must maintain Universal EPA Designation/Certification.
