As an LPN in post-acute facilities, you'll be responsible for providing compassionate nursing care to residents. This includes:
- Monitoring residents' physical and mental conditions and tracking vital signs
- Performing resident intakes and documenting medical histories
- Helping with medication administration and tracking
- Cultivating a comfortable and safe facility for residents
- Tracking medical records and charts
- Assisting with IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
- Maintaining medical supplies and inventory
- Following resident care plans and working with staff to orient and train new colleagues
