Role Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will utilize the ANA scope of practice to deliver professional nursing care, integrating patient-family centered care principles throughout the nursing process. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging patients. The RN will provide high-quality care under the guidance of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and recognizing the significance of nursing care in achieving positive patient outcomes. Collaboration with patients and families in care planning and education is essential, with appropriate documentation in health records.

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required within five years for new graduates or nurses with less than one year of experience.
- Graduates from non-accredited nursing programs must have a minimum of one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed healthcare role, along with successful completion of the NCLEX.
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- ACLS certification within six months of hire; TNCC within one year; ENPC within 15 months.
- Specialty certification is highly recommended within two years.
- Previous RN experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
Work Schedule
This position is full-time, with night shifts scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend.
