LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Charge Nurse II to join our team at the Brain Health Unit. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of nurses, and ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care, and function as an advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team.
- Assist in providing overall direction and coordination of unit operations, including mentoring and role-modeling best practices.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to engage, support, and treat patients with neurocognitive disorders and medical co-morbidities.
- Participate in performance appraisals, evaluate staff using reliable and objective criteria, and respond to and direct emergencies as needed.
- Establish a compassionate environment by supporting staff and enabling them to provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
Requirements:
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college) and requires knowledge of a specialized field.
- Experience: 1-3 years.
- Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: BLS certification, Maryland Registered Nurse License, ACLS certification for application to telemetry.
