Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Dietitian to manage the Nutrition and Dietetics program at Gallup Indian Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating a comprehensive nutrition and dietetics program, including budget management, menu planning, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive nutrition and dietetics program that meets the needs of the population served, including budget management, menu planning, and staff development.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of dietitians and nutritionists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality nutrition and dietetics services.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement a quality assurance program to ensure that nutrition and dietetics services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure that nutrition and dietetics services are integrated into the overall healthcare delivery system.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or graduate degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in a healthcare setting, with a focus on nutrition and dietetics.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement a comprehensive nutrition and dietetics program. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
