We invite highly motivated and talented photographers to join our team as a Visual Storyteller for the summer season. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience in capturing the essence of Chautauqua Institution's unique community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the visual identity of The Chautauquan Daily, our official newspaper, by taking photographs of various events, lectures, performances, and daily life at Chautauqua Institution.
- Pursue comprehensive projects that explore and showcase the stories of the Chautauqua community.
- Work collaboratively with our newsroom staff to meet deadlines and achieve high-quality visual content.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for storytelling through photography.
- Excellent technical skills in photography, including proficiency in camera equipment and post-processing software.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
- A stipend of $3,700 for the summer season, June 9th to August 23rd.
