Job Summary:This position is responsible for directing teams in the completion of complex investment projects requiring advanced knowledge of investment management principles, methods, and techniques in portfolio construction and management, asset allocation, investment policy, performance measurement, accounting principles and practices, and liability management.
The successful candidate will oversee financial analysis, modeling, and reporting efforts to support these projects, requiring strong project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the operation of multiple units and/or departments by identifying customer and operational needs, analyzing resources, costs, and forecasts, and incorporating them into business plans.
- Gain cross-functional support for business plans and priorities, translate business strategy into actionable business requirements, and obtain and distribute resources.
- Set standards and measure progress, remove obstacles that impact performance, and guide performance and develop contingency plans accordingly.
- Ensure products and/or services meet customer requirements and expectations while aligning with organizational strategies.
- Direct treasury reporting efforts across multiple financial/business functions by evaluating and summarizing economic data, market conditions, and financial commitments.
- Identify and report key financial/business drivers, liabilities, and performance indicators to senior management and develop compelling presentations to convey key findings to executive leadership and external business stakeholders.
- Manage projects or treasury components of larger cross-functional projects by identifying and managing stakeholder contacts, assembling teams based on project needs and team member strengths, and developing, analyzing, and managing project plans.
- Drive compliance with regulatory, statutory, and legal controls by developing and coordinating policies and procedures to achieve compliance and control objectives.
- Manage vendor contracts and transactions for complex, high-impact initiatives by building and managing a network of strategic/financial/business partners, negotiating and reviewing financial agreements, and ensuring vendor performance meets established service level agreements.
- Minimum eight (8) years experience working with investment and portfolio analysis, reporting, or financial modeling.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field and minimum ten (10) experience in finance or a directly related field.
- Minimum seven (7) years experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports, including minimum four (4) years supervisory experience.
- Minimum three (3) years experience managing operational or project budgets.
