Job Opportunity: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Fort Collins, CO

Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide occupational therapy services, conduct assessments, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify students' functional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs to support students' educational goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address students' functional and educational needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided to ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to setting educational goals for students and ensure their needs are met.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an OT.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills to ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders.
