Job Summary:The Counselor will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing counseling services to clients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct intake, screening, and assessment of clients to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide counseling services to clients, including individual, group, and family therapy.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the client's mental health needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and agency policies.
- Masters degree in a related field (e.g. counseling, social work, psychology).
- Two years of experience in a related field.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This role operates in a variable business setting with trips into the community. The Counselor will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.
