Role Summary

This role will involve working at our Milwaukee Facility and the Spay/Neuter Center in West Allis. You will contribute significantly by assisting animals at our Milwaukee Facility, as well as supporting animals and their loving families at our Spay/Neuter Center. Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting high-volume, high-quality, and safe spay/neuter procedures for both shelter and public animals.
• Performing additional surgical procedures as required for shelter animals.
• Ensuring safe, effective, and efficient medical processes from check-in to discharge, including follow-up care.
• Administering vaccinations and providing thorough medical evaluations.
• Monitoring the daily health status of both client and shelter animals.
• Offering medical guidance to clients and addressing inquiries as necessary.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans for animals in shelter and foster care.
• Providing leadership to medical support staff.
• Executing all other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a DVM degree and a valid license; experience in high-volume spay/neuter or shelter medicine is preferred.
