Associate Quality Manager Job Description

LHH is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Mesquite, TX to find an experienced Associate Quality Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality Assurance, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a consumer product setting.

This role offers opportunities for growth and development, with the potential to evolve into a full Quality Manager position as the business expands.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with 100% on-site work required.

The client is open to considering TN NAFTA Professionals, but other visa types are not eligible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 5 Quality Auditors
  • Develop and maintain inspection processes and PPAP procedures
  • Manage quality quarantines and nonconforming products
  • Develop quality control plans and calibration standards
  • Investigate complaints and failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Hire, manage, and train staff
  • Manage vendors
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to implement improvements at the production floor level
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and ISO framework
  • Ability to manage multiple QA special projects simultaneously
  • Ability to create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to ownership
  • Six Sigma green-belt certification preferred
