As an intern at RSM, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, from large corporations to smaller enterprises across various sectors. Interns participate in multiple team engagements throughout the year, contributing to various aspects of each assignment rather than focusing on a single component. Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehending clients' requirements and expectations, along with their business and industry specifics, accounting practices, control systems, employee dynamics, corporate values, and relevant GAAP and GAAS standards.
- Gaining familiarity with the RSM audit methodology and tools.
- Identifying risks and assessing the client's internal control framework.
- Conducting substantive tests and internal control evaluations to pinpoint and address accounting or reporting discrepancies.
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with established formats.
- Completion of 90 credit hours.
- Pursuing a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Major in Accounting.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required, with access to reliable transportation.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.

At RSM Global, compensation reflects an employee's experience, performance, and skills relevant to their current role. The salary range for this position considers various factors, including education, skills, work experience, and location.
Compensation Range: $31 - $38 per hour.
