We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Vascular Centers of America. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to diagnose blood vessel, artery, and vein diseases or disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with referring physicians and patients to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations, including obtaining medical history and personal information.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Compare patients' current scans to previous results to assess diagnostic information.
- Prepare and provide summarized ultrasound findings to physicians in a timely manner.
- Document patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
- Associate degree in Vascular Technology or related field.
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
- Minimum of one year's experience as a Vascular Technologist.
- Advanced knowledge of ultrasound equipment, procedures, and techniques.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
