Baker Boy is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sanitarian to join our team. As a Sanitarian, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, equipment, and products.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain a comprehensive sanitation program to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility, equipment, and products to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain documentation of sanitation procedures, including training records and quality control checklists.
- Collaborate with production staff to ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Train and educate staff on sanitation procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Investigate and resolve sanitation-related issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, and implement changes as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sanitation or a related field.
- Knowledge of HACCP and GMP procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift 15-30 pounds and stand for long periods.
The Sanitarian will work in a fast-paced production environment, with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment. The ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with staff is essential.
