Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Labcorp. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, including labeling and packaging
  • Enter patient information and test results into our computer system
  • Process billing information and collect payments from patients
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and respond to their inquiries
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and responding to emails
  • Travel to additional sites as needed to collect blood samples

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (if applicable)
