This role offers the chance to utilize extensive resources and receive exceptional support to ensure optimal patient care.
Compensation and Work-Life Balance:
In this position, you will receive a competitive base salary along with opportunities for additional incentives. Our compensation structure includes a Preferred Partners Program based on quality performance metrics and an APP Utilization Program. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance, offering a blend of in-clinic responsibilities with the flexibility for remote consultations.
Support and Resources:
As a Primary Care Physician at UPMC, you will have access to a variety of resources designed to help you succeed. This includes support from social workers, behavioral health specialists, and nutritionists for seamless referrals. Additionally, you will benefit from diabetic retinal exams conducted by an ophthalmologist and collaboration with UPMC Health Plan. Our administrative team is dedicated to managing practice operations, allowing you to concentrate on patient care.
Practice Environment:
This role is situated in a single-location, outpatient practice within a suburban environment. You will collaborate with a team of physicians and advanced practice providers to care for a diverse patient population.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (or board eligible for recent graduates)
- Unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
New Graduates:
If you are a recent graduate in Primary Care, we understand the transition from residency to practice can be challenging. You will receive mentorship and guidance from experienced physicians to support your development.
