The PCA Group, a leading global beauty holding company, is seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join its dynamic BEAUTYSPACE Team in Manhattan. This role will play a pivotal part in optimizing operations and driving growth in the beauty sector.

Role Overview

This position entails serving as a bridge between the finance department and other parts of the organization, ensuring that the company's financial strategy aligns with operational goals and adapts to changing external and internal conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting processes, monitoring financial performance, and tracking financial statement metrics for review by the CFO to ensure stability and growth.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management relating to financial risks, investment returns, depository accounts, and liquidity status at a company and Brand Level.
  • Analyze financial data and assist with review and analysis of financial deliverables up to and including financial budgeting at a brand level.
  • Perform variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying discrepancies and areas for improvement.
Financial Management

This role involves:

  • Collaborating with the CFO to prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Analyzing financial data and assisting with review and analysis of financial deliverables.
  • Performing variance analysis to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
Risk Management

This role involves analyzing financial data and market trends to help the organization anticipate and mitigate risks related to its financial strategy.

Performance Metrics

This role involves developing and refining key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing support for data-driven decision making.

Governance and Compliance

This role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, and ensuring that the organization's financial practices are transparent and uphold the principles of corporate governance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5-10 years of experience in the field or in a related field.
  • Familiarity with financial programs and software.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills along with good judgement.
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills (v-lookups, pivots, macros).
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $100,000-$110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, 401(k) with company match after 1 year, and medical, dental, and vision available on the first of the month after 60 days.
