Job Summary:

BL Companies, a 100% employee-owned engineering firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Engineer, you will work closely with Project Managers to provide quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Layout and Grading: Oversee and manage technical production of design for site plans, grading plans, details, erosion controls, access road plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
  • Storm Water Management and Erosion Control: Design and permit storm water management systems and erosion control measures.
  • Land Development Permits: Prepare and submit local land development permits.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure high-quality deliverables and mentor junior staff.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

Requirements:

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with 8+ years of experience in land development, a Professional Engineering License, and excellent technical and leadership skills. A strong understanding of local regulations and permitting processes is essential.
