Electrical Lineman

Job Summary:

CORE Electric Cooperative is seeking a skilled Transmission and Distribution Lineman to join our team. As a key member of our District Operations team, you will be responsible for the performance of labor necessary for the construction and maintenance of electrical distribution and transmission lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties that are semi-routine involving an intensive practical knowledge of duties related to electric power lines.
• Work independently and as part of a crew to plan and arrange own work, receiving general direction from the Line Superintendent.
• Interact with consumers and members, influencing their opinion of the Cooperative.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of apprenticeship training as a Lineman II or apprentice in the construction and maintenance of electric transmission and distribution lines.
• A valid unrestricted class A Colorado Commercial Driver's License and a DOT medical certificate.
