Electrophysiology Team Member Opportunity
BayCare Medical Group is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Specialist to join our dynamic team at Winter Haven Hospital. As a key member of our cardiology team, you will play a vital role in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and related conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as ECGs and Holter monitors.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions (e.g., pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, ablations).
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient care outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Nursing or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Clinical experience in Electrophysiology, Cardiology, or a related field.
- Strong clinical acumen, critical thinking skills, and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
