We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Agricultural Inspector to join our team at the Arkansas Department of Agriculture. As an Agricultural Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations in the livestock and poultry industries.

• Conduct inspections of livestock and poultry facilities to ensure compliance with regulations
• Monitor the interstate and intrastate movement of livestock and poultry to ensure compliance with federal and state laws
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies to improve compliance and reduce risks
• Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to share best practices and address common issues

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as agriculture, animal science, or environmental health
• At least one year of experience in a related field, such as livestock or poultry inspection
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to agriculture and animal health
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
