Airworthiness Inspector - Job Description

Overview:

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a leading manufacturer of business jet aircraft, is seeking an experienced Aircraft Airworthiness Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our aircraft meet the highest standards of airworthiness.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of FAA regulations and guidelines, as well as experience in aircraft inspection, quality control, and documentation. You will work closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to ensure that all aircraft are airworthy and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough inspections of aircraft, engines, and components to ensure compliance with FAA-approved data and acceptable standards of quality.
  • Conduct audits of maintenance documentation to verify accuracy and completion of all necessary records.
  • Cordinate with our repair station to ensure accurate and timely production of aircraft records.
  • Mentor technicians on effective documentation and quality control procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Science, or related field preferred.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
  • 4+ years of experience in aircraft inspection, quality control, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Benefits:
