Position:
Production Assembler II

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Production Assembler II who will collaborate within a production team to manufacture and assemble high-quality components, including Glass, Doors, Frames, and Subcomponents. The ideal candidate will adhere to work orders and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to achieve daily targets in safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.

The responsibilities include:

  • Assembling component parts into sub-assemblies and completed units following assembly instructions.
  • Utilizing hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools effectively.
  • Maintaining performance standards in assembly, production, quality, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Keeping work areas organized and adhering to the 6-S methodology.
  • Making minor adjustments to equipment under supervision.
  • Conducting inspections of parts and completed units using various inspection tools.
  • Reporting any defective materials or issues to supervisors.
  • Following SOPs and instructions from team leads.
  • Participating in cross-training and assisting with production as needed.
  • Performing a variety of assembly tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in production assembly.

Skills Required:

To excel in this role, candidates should have:

  • Basic reading and writing skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Good communication abilities.
  • An understanding of the 6-S methodology.
  • The capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team-oriented mindset with adaptability to change.
