Our ideal candidate would be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology and have additional experience in a fourth-year cardiac imaging fellowship or significant time working in the field. Senior physicians seeking leadership opportunities are encouraged to apply.
As a key member of our team, you will participate in inpatient and outpatient clinical activities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care to our patients. Our clinicians work closely with nurse coordinators to ensure effective communication between cardiology, obstetric, surgical, and other supporting services. We are committed to delivering patient-centered excellence, extending to prenatal life.
Our pediatric cardiology team consists of over 30 cardiologists, with a strong commitment to further growth, including the development of a dedicated pediatric cardiac intensive care unit and a newly approved Heart Transplant/VAD program. Our director of cardiac imaging, Dr. Ira Parness, has a reputation for excellence in imaging and is a renowned educator. Our team reads over 15,000 studies annually, including over 4,000 fetal echocardiograms.
