We are seeking a compassionate and skilled General Pediatric Epileptologist to join our rapidly growing pediatric specialty team at Physician Empire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Pediatric Epilepsy patients and general Neurology patients as part of a Pediatric Neurology practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Pediatric Epilepsy patients and general Neurology patients in an outpatient setting
- Partner with a dedicated Pediatric Brain and Spine Neurosurgeon to provide coverage for the pediatric EMU and participate in Pediatric Epilepsy surgical work-ups
- Rotate coverage for the pediatric inpatient floor, PICU, NICU, and pediatric emergency department for one-week rotations with 4 other Neurologists
- Lead the ambulatory pediatric EEG lab, responsible for approximately 850 outpatient EEGs a year, and continuous EEG reading for the practice
- Collaborate with a full-time pediatric neuropsychologist and pediatric dietitian to manage ketogenic diet
- Board certification in Neurology and Pediatric Neurology
- Experience in managing Pediatric Epilepsy patients and general Neurology patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
