Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Western Missouri Medical Center in the Emergency Department. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as cardiac arrests and trauma cases, and provide critical care as needed.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes, in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri.
  • ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Certification required.
  • BLS and Advanced Fetal Monitoring preferred certifications.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department.
  • Ability to work night shifts, including 6P-6A, and occasional mid shifts.
  • Ability to work every other weekend.
