Job Summary

Cynet Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to lead our construction and facilities management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of complex construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including management, contractors, and employees, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet the highest quality standards, adhering to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Cost Management: Manage project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential safety risks and hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all project stakeholders.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and renovation of company facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction-related engineering (engineering management, civil, mechanical, etc.) or related field from an accredited engineering school.
  • Experience: 4-7 years of relevant engineering experience, with a strong background in managing facilities construction projects and teams.
  • Skills: Strong organization, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various groups.
  • Certifications: PMP and/or EIT or PE or strong desire to pursue preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • cGMP Compliance: Experience with cGMP compliance or related quality systems.
  • Lean and Six Sigma: Experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Industry Regulations: Working knowledge of the current editions of industry-specific regulations.
