Position Overview:

We are in search of proficient and seasoned Engineers to become part of our team dedicated to constructing event-driven microservices utilizing Java, SpringBoot, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and NoSQL databases within a cloud environment.

In this capacity, you will be tasked with the design, implementation, and upkeep of intricate microservices architectures that align with the needs of our expanding enterprise.

As a Senior Engineer, you will also offer technical direction and mentorship to fellow team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop event-driven microservices leveraging Java (core), SpringBoot, and additional technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and NoSQL databases in the cloud.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ascertain business requirements and devise solutions that fulfill those criteria.
  • Create and sustain technical documentation including system diagrams, design specifications, and API documentation.
  • Partner closely with DevOps teams to deploy microservices into production and ensure effective monitoring and logging mechanisms are established.
  • Engage in code reviews, testing, and debugging of microservices to guarantee high-quality and maintainable code.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and constructing event-driven microservices using Java, SpringBoot, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and NoSQL databases in a cloud setting.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Comprehensive understanding of DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration and delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks such as React.
  • Experience with message-driven architectures and event-driven programming paradigms.
  • Proven ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Skills Overview:
