Cardiothoracic Radiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our team at VCU Health - MCV Physicians. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, sub-specialized imaging interpretations for assigned modalities in support of our referring physicians and patients.
Responsibilities:- Teaching: Provide training to medical students, residents, and fellows who rotate through our department.
- Research: Maintain professional relationships with the Department of Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, and Cardiology, and have a developed scholarly/research portfolio with evidence of multi-disciplinary applications.
- Service: Devote time and effort to academic service-related activities, including college, school, and departmental committee work, professional growth, and other such assignments.
- Clinical: Provide high-quality imaging interpretations for assigned modalities in support of our referring physicians and patients.
- ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination.
- Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Radiology.
- Demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
- Eligibility for a Virginia medical license and permanent employment in the USA.
