We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and evaluate complex laboratory tests in various areas of the clinical laboratory.
- Work with minimal supervision, utilizing your expertise to recognize problems, troubleshoot, and solve complex issues.
- Assist in developing and modifying procedures and programs to ensure the accuracy of tests.
- Perform all required Quality Control procedures, document results accurately, and follow through on outliers.
- Notify supervisors of unusual or unexpected results and report critical values to the appropriate person.
- Baccalaureate Degree in a Science required.
- Must be CLIA eligible for High Complexity Testing.
- MT(ASCP) or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years in a hospital laboratory experience preferred.
