Job Summary

Southeastern Directions for Life is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and supply designated building areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning.
  • Ensure facilities and grounds are clean and maintained in accordance with relevant regulations and agency standards.
  • Conduct quarterly inspections of the facility with the maintenance supervisor.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor to develop a plan for preventative maintenance for buildings and grounds.
  • Maintain agency vehicles, including cleaning, fueling, and regularly scheduled servicing.
  • Notify the maintenance supervisor of any deficiencies or need for repairs.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs with supervisor approval.
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms.
  • Seasonally remove snow from sidewalks using snow blowers and shovels, and spread snow melt.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques.
  • General knowledge of vehicle maintenance is preferred.
