Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental exams by reviewing medical histories and discussing treatment options
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' current dental hygiene, including oral cancer screenings
- Take x-rays and other images as necessary to diagnose and treat dental issues
- Clean and polish teeth using proper scaling and polishing techniques
- Administer fluoride treatments to prevent tooth decay
- Teach patients proper oral hygiene techniques to promote good oral health
- Assist the dentist during exams and procedures
- Associate degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
- Dental hygienist license in good standing
- Experience working with patients in a dental office setting
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in brushing and flossing techniques
