Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Allison Transmission. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information, developing integrated revenue/expense analyses, and creating reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Compile and analyze financial information from all components of the organizational entity, and develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
  • Financial Reporting: Coordinate, compile, and analyze annual financial documents for the organization and its component units, applying sophisticated spreadsheet and database applications.
  • Financial Systems: Collaborate with and coordinate all components of the organization to ensure consistent reporting and adherence to federal and state financial reporting regulations and guidelines, and conformity with company fiscal policies and procedures.
  • Financial Systems Development: Analyze, design, document, and implement internal financial reporting systems and procedures for the organization or business entity.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1 year experience in a financial analyst, budget analyst or accounting role; experience using SAP in a financial setting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work optimally. Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of expertise. Database management skills. Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems. Knowledge of a range of automated financial systems and applications software. Ability to compile, analyze, interpret, and present sophisticated annual financial reports, statements, and/or projections. Knowledge of Federal and State regulations. Knowledge of the principles, processes, and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting as related to a public company.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years experience.
