Job Summary:

As a Nurse Specialist on our Medical Inpatient Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.

Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical inpatient unit.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS preferred.
