Provider Contract Food Service is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at California Baptist University in Riverside, CA.

Job Summary:

Our Baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads, rolls, pizza dough, and laminated doughs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of experience baking in a high-volume kitchen and possess basic knowledge of measurements and cake decorating skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, rolls, and pastries according to recipes and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work area and bakery utensils.
  • Keep the dessert bar and refrigerator well-stocked with baked goods.
  • Assist with plating cakes and desserts for meal service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the bakery supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 months of experience baking in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes.
  • Basic knowledge of measurements.
  • Basic cake decorating skills.
  • Knowledge of plating cakes and desserts for meal service.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a standing position for long periods of time.
