We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, processing and dispensing prescription orders, and counseling patients on their medication needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling patients on their medication needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and provide the highest level of care.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and effective operations, including inventory management, billing, and customer service.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
- Experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
