Key Responsibilities

As a Railway Structural Engineer, your role will involve:
  • Providing technical support under the direction of a Project Manager
  • Overseeing the work of Engineers in Training (EITs) and Junior Project Engineers
  • Creating detailed engineering designs for railway projects
  • Managing project responsibilities from site feasibility studies through to final design and construction
  • Completing additional tasks as needed

  • Local travel percentage - 0%
  • Travel exceeding 40 miles percentage - 0%
Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, and InRail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with project management capabilities
  • Commitment to engaging in our employee-focused culture
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in transportation design, especially in railroad projects
  • Preference for local candidates
