Job Summary:

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the South Charlotte area. As a primary care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients. This is a full-time float position, working 30-35 hours per week, with a schedule of 2-3 days per week plus every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

- Provide primary and family evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
- Perform administrative duties, including opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Be responsible for handling patient appointments, performing routine examinations, and ensuring positive patient health outcomes.
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.

Requirements:

- A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care practice is preferred.
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Provide holistic, evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Education:

- Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
