Job Title: Diagnostic Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at Tenet Massachusetts. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and providing high-quality images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various modalities, including 2D and 3D imaging
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide patient education and support, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Sonography program
  • Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic sonography, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
