Electronic Imaging Librarian PRN Specialist

As an Electronic Imaging Librarian PRN, you will play a vital part in supporting internal and external customers by efficiently utilizing digital and PACS/RIS technology to ensure accurate and efficient image and data storage, reporting, and distribution methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional support to customers by efficiently performing a wide range of tasks, including answering phones, greeting and interacting with staff, and obtaining studies in the radiology information system.
• Interact with other departments and coworkers to coordinate activities, gather patient information, and perform call-backs in a timely manner.
• Monitor workflow to expedite the patient importing and exporting of their images through our cloud-based imaging program.
Requirements
• Experience in a healthcare clinical environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hospital information systems and clinical programs is desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in the use of personal computer operating systems is essential.
Education
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
