Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologists play a vital role in providing diagnostic imaging services. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Baylor Scott & White Health, you will perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. Your key responsibilities include ensuring quality assurance, patient safety, and collaboration with healthcare professionals while adhering to established safety and procedural protocols.

About the Role:
This is an ongoing position, requiring 40 hours per week, with a shift schedule of 8 hours, days. The ideal candidate will have 2 Years of NMT experience with required education and certifications. You will be working in Cardiac Imaging, with some travel to Dallas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
- Systematically evaluate the quality of imaging procedures and follow established standards and procedures.
- Maintain equipment by performing quality control (Q.C.) as required by imaging manufacturers, radiation materials license (RAM), or American College of Radiology (ACR).
- Work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.

Requirements:
- Ability to observe changes in the medical condition of patients and effectively communicate changes to nursing partners, physicians, and emergency response teams as needed; with ability to administer first aid and use the emergency cart.
- Demonstrates and maintains current knowledge, continued education and skills appropriate care for the following age groups: newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult and geriatric.
- Able to provide services timely, accurately, and cost-efficiently in compliance with established system and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
- Able to maintain a calm and helpful attitude, even under times of stress, and take appropriate and reasonable steps to resolve issues.
