Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Oracle relational database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement database systems using Oracle Database 19c, OCI, and/or Autonomous Database.
  • Develop and maintain database performance tuning strategies to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data security and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database systems meet business requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Database Administration.
  • Experience with Oracle relational database, including Oracle Database 19c, OCI, and/or Autonomous Database.
  • Foundational understanding of Linux, as all databases run on Linux platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience in database performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and data security practices.
  • DevOps background, including experience with Jenkins, Ansible, and Python.
  • Previous experience working within an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) R12.

  • Competitive salary range of $110,000 - $130,000.
