Soliant Education is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students in elementary and middle school settings in the New Haven, MI area.

This full-time, on-site position for the school year offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students by providing individual and group counseling services, conducting psychoeducational evaluations, and collaborating with teachers and staff to develop effective interventions and support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess student needs and develop effective interventions.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to address student needs, including learning disabilities, social-emotional challenges, and behavioral concerns.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective support plans and promote student success.
  • Consult with teachers and staff on strategies to support students with diverse learning needs in the classroom setting.
  • Analyze data and monitor student progress to inform ongoing support plans.

Qualifications:

  • Michigan State License as a School Psychologist.
  • Prior experience working with students in both elementary and middle school settings is highly preferred.
  • Strong assessment skills with a variety of psychoeducational tests and measures.
  • Expertise in evidence-based interventions and strategies to support academic achievement, social-emotional learning, and positive behavior.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
