Overview:


This role necessitates a high level of technical expertise, experience, and discernment to conduct cardiovascular ultrasound examinations and assess the quality of data for interpretation by Cardiologists.

A comprehensive understanding of cardiovascular conditions, blood flow dynamics, and advanced imaging techniques such as Doppler and color flow imaging is essential.

It is expected that the candidate possesses an in-depth knowledge of ultrasound technology, cardiovascular physiology, and pathology, as well as hemodynamics, with the capability to translate these findings into clinically relevant information.

Our facilities are equipped to handle a wide array of medical and surgical needs, including pediatrics, obstetrics, skilled nursing, emergency care, intensive care, and advanced diagnostic imaging.

We also feature a specialized Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, allowing mothers to stay close to their premature or special needs infants during recovery.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma
At least one (1) year of full-time experience in cardiac ultrasound.


Candidates must demonstrate significant experience in performing routine echocardiograms, including color flow, pulse wave, and continuous wave Doppler, as well as stress echocardiograms, pharmacologic stress tests, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).

Experience with contrast echocardiography agents is also required.
Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI is mandatory.
