Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our IV Team at Mount Sinai South Nassau. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Current and valid New York State registration authorizing practice as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care environment, with a focus on infusion/vascular care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 12.5 hour varied night shifts. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing and walking.
